Our Instructors

At The Snows of Khione Ballet Academy, instructors serve as both artistic developers and casting advisors within the Academy’s performance pipeline. Engaged throughout the audition and rehearsal seasons, they contribute directly to dancer selection, including principal casting and the designation of understudies. Following casting, instructors support the staging and development of the production, contributing to choreography while leading weekly training sessions that sustain technical precision and performance readiness. They also oversee the development of ensemble and junior dancers, refining technique and ensuring consistency across all levels of the cast.

Training is rigorous, intentional, and directly tied to performance outcomes. Instructors are expected to maintain a disciplined and professional rehearsal environment, offering precise corrections and guiding dancers toward consistency, control, and expressive clarity. In addition to classical ballet, instructors may incorporate contemporary, jazz, and hip hop elements where appropriate for group choreography, ensuring versatility across the production. Beyond technique, instructors play a critical role in shaping each dancer’s presence, confidence, and ability to contribute meaningfully to a cohesive, story-driven performance.
